This is truly devastating. Such a neat town full of so many awesome people. A friend of mine dragged me to West Fest one year 10 years ago, and I have to say, I met more random nice people there than probably any other town in TX.

Most notably, the Czech pastry "kolache" (pronounced koh-law-chee) is still served today in restaurants and rest stops from Columbus near Houston all the way up to West. It's a soft, sweet dough filled with some fruit, cheese, chocolate or some mixture of all of those. It's fantastic.

I finally decided to give this marketing campaign a chance.

What's funny is in 3 months, I went from the most ludicrously-small leg room with spirit to regular first class upgrades once I got US Air Status. It really makes you appreciate having even standard leg room, let alone the full-extension of first class or exit rows.
