Boba Fett isn’t Mandalorian, though. His dad was just a bounty hunter that used some of their armor. It would have to be more like one of the myriad Mandalorian factions deciding that they were tired of that SOB Boba Fett using their armor and pursuing that vendetta.

You’d be surprised. That cost/benefit tipping point has been met and surpassed by far.
Many of the props and even some of the armor used in the new Star Wars were largely 3d printed or cast from printed masters - the stormtrooper blasters, Kylo Ren’s lightsaber, and Phasma’s helmet and gloves, to name just a very few.

Henson Co has already done kind of a sequel to Labyrinth, called Mirrormask. More of a spiritual sequel:

Now playing

That would be perfect and maybe the only acceptable actor! They’ve played each other before :)

I encourage you to read this link, particularly the sections covering eastern philosophies such as Daoism and the unification of opposites with relation to Star Wars. You cannot discount the prequels as they and the Clone Wars series are all the work of Lucas as part of a whole: http://www.starwarsringtheory.com/ring-c

A big part of Star Wars is that everything has aspects of both the light and dark, with the force as a manifestation of that. Luke and Anakin both have great capacity for love and attachment but also the flip side of that which is hate and pain. The Jedi being in power for so long leads to them becoming arrogant and

Star Wars is about the shifting balance between the dark and light side of the force. The dark side wins just as much as the light. Star Trek (under Roddenberry) was about the enlightened moral superiority of evolved “humanity” and its inherent ability to do good in the galaxy.

I guess I’m mainly thinking of stuff before Roddenberry died, as well. There was a shift in tone once he was not involved any more.

For the most part, excepting the shades of grey in DS9, the captain’s good morals and humanity’s evolved purpose serve to win the day. And if it’s one of the rare stories where the captain shows flaws which create problems, the supporting crew members put them back on the right track. The main crew characters are

It’s akin to eastern versus western philosophy. Star Trek is very western in its “good triumphs over evil, always” ideal. Wars has a more eastern take in that there’s always a mix of good and evil, and sometimes one wins before being supplanted by the other (or coming into balance).

YES. That looked so real to me I wondered if they had broken out the makeup and prosthetics. The work on these shows is incredibly impressive.

Vader does something similar in his comic book. Cool to see it in action.

It was Max Lord’s best scene of the series!

I think you meant to say: Fox, don’t you fucking dare make a Gotham spinoff... unless it stars Fish Mooney

It’s possible, but I’d say Bail is pretty capable of that himself given his position and wealth.

It’s definitely mentioned in the dialog too - Phasma says that his programming may have failed and he would be sent to re-education or something along those lines.

I wouldn’t go *thaaat* far... but while I enjoyed the movies I’ve felt absolutely no need to revisit them. Bale isn’t “my” Batman and there are other versions that I enjoy much more.
