Minifigures from themes that are based on licensed characters or real people are given the skin tone of that person. Yellow is still used for all others like the City, Space, Castle, Pirate, etc themes.

Oooh, you’re right. I was getting confused with the way that Vulcan imploded in the movie. Argh, yeah, Nero wasn’t even bad in the comic. For shame! Ok yeah Remus would totally be asploded too then it seems.

Nero only imploded one of them? The other one surely had its orbit messed up, but perhaps the orbit stabilized, and that new sunlight contributes to the Remans’ development in this hypothetical situation. Or maybe it fell into the sun and they all died.

That’s my recollection of the comic as well :)

Romulus and Remus are twin planets - only Romulus was destroyed.

I guess my point is, whoever “they” are that would possibly bring Trek back to TV, I have to expect the TNG time period has been quite fully explored/exploited. A new setting, prime or not, would likely be chosen.

It really does sound like they are just being polite.

And another: “ I have zero doubt that Martin won’t fix this”
Double negative reads that you’re certain Martin won’t fix it :)

He only works in black (and sometimes very dark grey).

When I saw the headline and the picture I assumed the girl in question was surely the one in those nasty heels. Welp.

A bit of a semantics thing: I think what you refer to as zombies are called “wights” in the context of the show, and the ones you called wights on horses are actually the White Walkers.

You could call it “Bachelors”

I don’t know, there may have been some techonobabble explanation, but that scene was so dumb and I have to think Stuart Baird is 100% responsible. He put two car chases in a Star Trek movie. What a tool.

Except that’s nearly how much a season of the show costs ($38) if you buy it on iTunes, or Blu-ray. Which, yes, if that’s the ONLY thing you watch in 3 months on HBO, buy the season instead. But there are other shows they do throughout the year that are worth watching and the HBO Now gives you access to all of it.

Yeah, and that makes it even more frustrating that there’s no Nine here. What the hell.

In many places in the US this type of parking is illegal (putting aside that the smart car has now prevented the other two vehicles from being able to leave their parking spaces).

Not to mention, of all people in Hollywood, he is in one of the best positions to affect change on that front in his writing on the Star Trek movie. Star Trek itself has always been about exploring complex, real world issues through a futuristic lens. If he wants to explore challenging moral issues, Star Trek is the

Yeah, I don’t think there’s any subtext to his statement. He’s simply referring to the visual aspect of the walker.

Only thing worth seeing in Salvation was the video embedded in the article. Even that didn’t make much sense (throwing him around instead of punching through chest).
