Wait is that the Hideout's Batman improv?!? I saw that a few years ago and it was awesome!

Or even better, there's also the Justice League Beyond. They started out in the Batman Beyond show but are in current books as well. Includes Aquagirl (female Atlantean), Warhawk (mixed-race son of John Stewart and Hawkgirl), Micron (black male), Barda (female New God), Superman, Batman, Flash (black female), Green

Ok, then, when you mention her being "an agent who was playing catch-up in a chase, gets flustered in the moment, and has trouble making a relatively easy sniper shot — at least by movie standards."

I have no theory about your mentality. I am trying to figure it out, though. That's why I'm asking questions. I don't understand how or why you think the original Moneypenny was a better, more equal character. Both of my posts are trying to elicit that explanation.

Well, maybe that's because there was more than vague sexism in the way that Moneypenny was written in the prior movies. You seem to be saying that in order for Ms Moneypenny to be 'cool,' she should be like she was in the past. Unfortunately, in the past she was a character entirely defined by a flirtation with Bond.

She was still all of those things (gatekeeper, foil, etc) in Skyfall. She resists his advances and every conversation they have after his 'resurrection' has them on equally witty footing. So she gets demoted in your eyes because they dared give her a background other than "secretary?"

Hawk wasn't gay in the First Contact script, but he was in later EU books.

Hey, now that Dexter is over, Manny Coto is available. He was responsible for the final (and best) season of Enterprise, and made it feel like real Star Trek... it would be wonderful if they got him back on Trek as Exec Producer.

They even built props and used them in an early Comic-con trailer.

Yes and yes. Right on both counts.

I was about to say. Seriously, he should be on there.

I would also add that the Geth are so transparently based on the Cylons. Their history and status in the universe is identical to the Cylons at the start of the new BSG series. Mass Effect 1 had some original ideas but the Geth were one of the most blatantly unoriginal things about it.

The characters' color-coding is difficult to parse. This is a tough one to solve, but it takes far too many hours of play to fully grok just what the heck is going on with the way the map assigns starting points to main missions and side missions, and assigns different sizes and colors to mission-types and characters.

I have a pug and only recently I learned a great technique for managing his weight. It worked brilliantly and he dropped 4 lb in about 3 months. When measuring out the food, measure the entire quantity the dog will eat for the day, and then feed each meal from that. You may think you are measuring 1/3 cup for each

Is that second male bot based on Charlie from Prometheus??

I don't have anything to add to this other than a big "YUUUUP!" of agreement

Though I suppose she learned from the best :)

On this note, what about Sarah Jane Smith? I love the show and the character (on the 2nd season now), and she repeatedly expresses reluctance to involve the kids, but still! Objectively speaking... Her Scooby gang is constantly being mind controlled/abducted/threatened by aliens.

I don't think they exist at all in New 52 :(

Correct. I was surprised to hear the same thing from a local firefighter acquaintance a few months ago. They're no longer allowed to use the poles.
