Yah, much of the difference in looks can be chalked up to SMOKING. I mean compare the cast of Superman: The Movie to Superman Returns. In the more recent movie, the Lois and Clark actors were the same age or older than those in the 70s movie. But they looked 10-15 YEARS younger.
