From what I've read, A:CM was a victim of constant rescheduling and delaying in the name of other Gearbox projects like Borderlands 2 and Duke Nukem Forever. Eventually, the game got split up and outsourced around to 2 or 3 different devs, which I've NEVER seen work. tl;dr, outsourcing destroyed development

Jesus, 25 people is a SIZABLE portion of the company... Valve is very small. It's making me a little worried...

The ironic part is that Japan is FAR more sensitive to violence in games than the US is. CERO's restrictions on blood and violence are far tighter than the ESRB's, meaning that a lot of Japanese titles have to be much more heavily censored than their North American releases to even come out at all (e.g. No More Heroes)

It's not quite back to its former glory yet, but I'm keeping faith, especially since they have 1/10th of the budget this time around and a lot of series they COULD'VE bought are up in limbo due to Bandai HE going up in smoke.

Probably won't happen, since it was a complex bi-national production between CN and Studio 4C.

Hey ;_; Thundercats was only from 2011...

Motherfuckers, trying to take a bite out of Toonami, eh?

BUT...will it play used games? That's the question that everyone's waiting to have answered.

Protecting the brand is a sensitive matter especially for a popular children's line.

And then Hasbro would "accidentally" bury them in red ink, because a C&D specifies that development has to stop henceforth.

So "broadening the fan base" is another way of saying "alienating your core fanbase and destroying your IP"? Gotcha.

I have a feeling that many, many MAME cabinets will be built from this.

A simple filter system would make it very easy to wade through the crap. Some games could have a "Valve Certified' tag on it that means it's been put through the Valve review process, and a 5 star rating system could take care of the rest.

Suda was simply the producer and was so little involved with the production process that his employees actually got REALLY pissed at him for not coming in to work. Say what you want about his involvement on paper but the project was very much Gunn's after suda laid the initial concept.

The worst part is that people mistakenly accredit LC to Goichi Suda when he really had very little to do with the project at all (it was James Gunn's work). Suda's games are the exact OPPOSITE of gratuitous violence, despite what people will have you believe. It's no coincidence that he's best buds with Takashi Miike,

With the specs that have leaked, $400 sounds just about right, actually. I wouldn't be surprised if it came out to that, give or take $50.

I think that people are upset about Patricia in particular because many of her articles mirror the reactionary sentiments of "social justice bloggers" around the internet who are doing far more harm than good.

That's worrisome ._.

Irrelevant argument.
