Good on your lack of mentioning an emulator. Otherwise I'd have to bring up a Twitter incident from the past couple days. At least you practice what you preach, unlike some other people involved.

This is the deepest global recession Nintendo's ever operated in, and it's also the first console they've sold at a loss (3DS was probably at a loss, too). It's understandable why there have been losses, but profits will start within the next year or two and they already have on the 3DS.

Resident FUCK YOU by Ninja Theory?

Give the Wii U time. It's all the same story as the 3DS - no games at launch. While the 3DS also needed a price cut to stay competitive, I believe the Wii U's price is fine for a home console. It just doesn't have any system sellers yet. The 3DS does now, and with its lineup of 2013 games it's practically gonna fly

This could either be a horribly bad thing or an okay thing. As said in the press release, they also own Acquire and GameArts, who have pretty much done their own thing since the purchase. If the same hands-off policy applies to Grasshopper, they'll be just fine.

Not so fast. Xseed has localized a lot of games from GungHo, which means they may try their hand at future Grasshopper products.

Good lord...Skill selection? Changing base classes? This shit is fucking bananas. Best-looking FE game I've ever seen!

As long as difficulty is scalable I never have a problem with it. Just KEEP it scalable so that people seeking a challenge can still get it.

Only latency I ever got with MIDI was when they introduced USB/MIDI adapters into the mix later. They never quite got those right...

Depends. Some arcade machines are rented out from amusement companies.

As an adamant arcade preservationist, I can only pray that these removed games are being returned to their various amusement companies and being taken care of. If they're being thrown away because of this, my rage will know no bounds. We're running out of these machines...

Probably they just forgot to take it off the card. It happens, look at San Andreas and the trouble that Rockstar got into for leaving cut content on the disc.

Seventy-nine and ninety-ninth of United States dollars.

There were a lot of other emulators on the card as well. Many speculate that the company who made it couldn't decide what kind of emulation device to make it, and SNK swooped in and made it the Neo Geo X at the last minute.

I'll tell you why production is ending. People cracked open the root and found a bunch of illegal shit on the SD card, including a PS1 BIOS. They're probably backpedalling as fast as possible in order to not get their shit sued by Sony.

Bet this painting will sell more copies than Dead Space 3.

I've seen far worse. It's the paint application that's horrible, the sculpt itself is actually pretty good.

I'd be pissed too if a soldier was busy touting CoD gear...but the resemblance is contrived at best. ._.

Supreme Court ruled video games as protected under The First Ammendment, making it unconstitutional via judicial precedent to regulate or censor them on a government level.

Unconstitutional, a similar bill was raised to the Supreme Court post-ruling and struck down. Don't worry about it, even if it passes.
