So, Temple Run is so popular because it was the first free, decent endless runner for mobile, just like how Angry Birds got popular because it was the first free, decent physics game for mobile?

At the rate the violent game shitflinging has escalated, thank GOD the Supreme Court made their ruling on the topic already...otherwise, things would be getting ugly.

If you think the story of a story-driven game was its weakest part, then you must not be a fan of Dishonored.

Except Rhianna Pratchett can actually write worth her salt - she was a major player in Dishonored, for one, and she learned from the best (her dad, Terry Pratchett).

I've been explaining it in the comments, if you wanna read. I'd re-write it here but I'm hopping off.

Because I don't think "simplicity" is Microsoft's strength, because they've never had it and it's never been what's propelled them to greatness.

Helvetica's become a fact of life, unfortunately.

Wow, another one bites the dust. I have to say, the casualties of this generation have been absolutely insane.

Explained it in another reply, take a look if you'd like

In my eyes, a logo should communicate something about your brand identity, not neccessarily in what it depicts, but in how what it depicts is designed.

Sorry, but this minimalism fad in advertising is a load of shit that erodes brand identity and creates a superficiality and disconnect between consumer and the product.

Idk if it's just me, but my fondest memories are of the PS1 FF games, not the SNES ones like everybody says. I felt like they had the most imagination, originality, and DEFINITELY the most amazing worlds in the series, though I still do love IV and VI like everyone else.

People saying "not powerful enough" have to remember that this shit's gonna be retailing for below $500.

My question is: how many times are they gonna re-re-reuse these old monster sprites until people catch on?

It sold a demographic that was in transition. That demographic has now migrated to smart phones and tablets, meaning that no game console will sell as well as the Wii did ever again...and that's okay.

Theoretically, they may even be in the same universe, if this game is a Kill The Past title...

Well, to be fair, all of his game that use this style (except for No More Heroes) are part of the same universe. Of course, we have yet to confirm that Killer is Dead is part of that universe (called Kill The Past) as well, but seeing as how names are already turning up and the moon is a major theme, it's quite likely.

Assuming that the Wii U will sell Wii numbers is foolhardy, because the Wii's success is artificial.

Unconstitutional. Thanks, Supreme Court~
