If the original FF was remade with a full orchestral soundtrack and 3D cel-shaded graphics based on Amano's art, it would so be Game of the Year.
Man, SO many core people have left thatgamecompany...has there been a falling out with the management or something?
I was only semi-serious. This isn't NEARLY as bad as Xover.
Thank you based Game Arts.
First Rockman XOver, and now THIS?!
Frankly, seems like a good idea with poor execution. Jarring perspective, poor 2D animation, unpolished gameplay...
Sega Activator? I-is that you...?
Except it doesn't have good programming or design. Only good art, and even then that art almost never transfers over well to the final product.
A shame art this good is being wasted on a shitty studio like Gameloft.
You guys end up in the most awkward of places for our momentary amusement with these reviews. A shoutout to you boys in the trenches - you're a braver man than I.
Lol, doesn't sound like much of a bonus to me. Now if you bundled a game and a decently-sized memory card with the non-3G Vita for $300, then we'd be talking.
...but the reason we're running into RAM limitations on the 360 is because it's 7 years old, not because it was designed with too little RAM in mind. When it was created, the amount of RAM it had was perfectly fine...
It's also not as if this is gen ancient-ass hardware, no siree. Of course they have limited RAM. But that doesn't mean we have to put more than necessary into the new consoles. 4GB of RAM at MOST would be fine for the next gen of consoles. But 8GB as postulated in the article?
No, because Bethesda can't code efficiently to save their life. We shouldn't be making systems to accomodate Bethesda's messy work.
Dumping so much RAM into consoles, let alone dedicated GPU and CPU resources for the OS in Durango's theoretical case, is no good news if you ask me. It'll gimp the system's power and the RAM will do nothing more than allow for more sloppy code to be implemented. Another example of the industry favoring quantity over…
How have these two not been Popola and Devola from Nier yet?!
Bravo, bravo! This is a point I've been making for a long time with regards to game narrative/story as a whole, and it's usually fallen on deaf ears.
Oh, I don't deserve anything I pay $60 for, let alone $100+ for the complete game (DLC included), when I see amateurs do just as good of a job as professional developers and do it on a fraction of their budget?
