I honestly enjoyed Duke Nukem Forever. I was expecting exactly what Duke Nukem 3D was - an over the top, shallow, fun run-and-gun experience with some awesome moments. That's what I got. A popcorn flick, like all the games before it.

The big thing I don't dig about this game is how pretentious the concept is. It brings up all these questions about "Blah blah blah if you were in the LHC blah blah" and goes nowhere with them.
It's Chinese, which means it'll likely be assembled by a state construction agency.
Japan is setting a scary precedent for this kind of thing...if media piracy becomes one of the most dangerous state crimes on record, the prisons of every developed country are going to be filled to capacity in about 2 years.

I've seen game budgets get absolutely out of control in the past 4 years. People keep saying it's "impossible to make an AAA game", but it wasn't so at the beginning of this generation.
