Really, the failure of the Saturn in the US can be largely attributed to "Bernie's Rules", the sales tactics of the then-Sega of America COO Bernie Stolar. There were two of note.

Bohemia does it again. Looks like a combination of Batallion Wars and the vehicular elements of Arma.
Yeah, I figured this would happen. Man can't fill both positions at once.
Holy shit. And I thought promo event food in the US was expensive...I'll be grateful for the $8 sandwiches at conventions next time...
Just from the trailer alone, I caught references to Hokuto no Ken, Gundam, Contra 3, and The Legend of Kage.
Well yeah, we all saw this coming as soon as we saw the Wii U's specs. Everyone's saying "Nintendo didn't make a next gen console, it just took them six years to make a current gen one." While the Durango had many rumors of being underpowered, I'd be shocked now if it couldn't run Unreal 4. And Sony's likely going to…

This idea sounds fantastic. Any gameplay to be found?
Ehh, I wouldn't rule out the option of RFID "dog tags" for the next CoD unlocking certain perks...
It's jut one game, but it was a success. I guarantee you're going to see a huge wave of "toyification" after this, especially with the Wii U supporting NFC RFID out of the box.
This kind of stuff is keeping the trend full circle. For the longest time, games were out to prove that they were far more serious than toys. Now they're damned determined to be as toy-like as they can be.

I think there's a running theme here:
Hmmm...perhaps we'll see some 3DS - Wii U cross-play functionality!
I think that Project Sora/Nintendo has a lot to learn from N-B, and vice versa. This will be an interesting outcome!
Tachikoma shoes? Hell yes.
To that, too, I disagree. I'm of the traditional camp that thinks games are most akin to cinema. I'd say that music, though, is the art form it has the second-most-in-common with, due to the rhythmic elements.
See above. Just letting you know I replied.
