This is just turning into trollbait now. Shame, because much of the discussion was civil on the last article.
I would just think that server fees for a Flash game would be peanuts. Guess EA is really tightening the belt...
...but why?
Tales of Shut Up and Take My Money looks to be one of the best games of 2012-2013, especially due to its innovative money-taking features and salivation-inducing visuals.
I always knew Kirby games had bosses that would scare the kiddies, but this takes the under-the-radar to a new level...
To think we haven't come up with another animated image format in all that time...
This would be such a guilty pleasure, but...
Huh. I'm not infuriated by this article today. Nice change of pace.
I have to say, that ad was truly magnificent. Really goes to show you what can be done with internet multimedia tools in the hands of creative people. A shame that others don't try as hard. It was like a glimpse into the future of advertising.
There will always be those who seek something more than escapism in gaming (and media in general), myself included.
It's what that mountain means to the player - it's a different story for every person - that makes Journey so profound.
Jenova Chen is one of the few guys in the industry that "gets it".

You're forgetting the one which is by far the best.
That, I don't quite understand. Perhaps word from higher management? Or personal reasons. Still, I can't help but be reminded of a case like this as Konami a few months ago very similar to this...the sad part is that she's going to win jack shit from the court, if history repeats itself.
Although I do rail against Lego for becoming so corporate in recent years, I will say one thing - their dedication to quality hasn't wavered for a second. I respect them immensely for that, and will likely remain a lifelong fan.
Sometimes, the only way one deals with hard news is by laughing it off. I'm planning on going into the industry, and if I ever start my own developer I've always made it a priority to have equal treatment of employees. Seeing news like this makes me wonder if I should change my major.
I did read the article. It's really sad, but I'm jaded and am afraid it won't change anytime soon. Regardless, I haven't bought a game from Capcom in ages because of their business practices. This just makes me even more glad that I don't.
