Another natural disaster on the electrical side (to show it happens to both) are the fires always happening in California where PG&E does rolling blackouts so they can shut down lines near impacted areas. I could not agree with you more. Since most hydrogen today is sourced from fossil fuels, it is not “green” at all. It could be green, it is just that electrolysis is more expensive than using dino juice.

The fact that U.S.S.R. was able to create a concept in 1988 with the Chernobyl mess bringing about the downfall of their socialist state is impressive. But ... Liquid hydrogen. Airbus is developing it right now and plans flights to begin in 2035. They are not likely to meet the target, but neither will Boeing’s french fry fueled aircraft - and Airbus has a genuine solution.

True. They also ended it because it had a gaping loophole where the majority of high polluting vehicles were never tested since the testing was only forced on vehicles registered in the Seattle area.
