Have you looked at the total cost of ownership? When you factor that in, a Model 3 costs less than a comparable Camry or Accord. I think all new cars cost too much, but it seems that Tesla’s Model 3 is definitely cost competitive, when considering the total cost over 5 years, with ICE family autos.
