Without so much as GRRM’s “Winds Of Winter” manuscript to guide them, the Writer’s are snagging up on all the worst tropes of the story, and letting so many higher-minded concepts of the books just disappear. Without GRRM’s writing as a solid anchor and guide, it is pretty clear that the Show Writers are gleefully jumping into the cavern of writing to the lowest common denominator. They’ve lobotomized every character, and are turning the show into a ruin of gratuitousness and predictability. A shame really.
