Also, there's a bunch of third-party titles that won't ship with Windows 8 support. (Battlefield 4 for example supports Windows 2000, XP, Vista and 7, no 8)

Might be so, but still the experience would be better without it, no?

If they weren't so arrogant in their communication, I'd consider that possibility. But they are acting like right out dicks, might as well expect them to keep that up and ban every single user once they want to devote the server space to something else, which would mean you can't play any of the games you've bought.

It seems to be the way of the internet, complaining drowning out the praise in many cases. We fans where still around though, but I suppose we actually had a game to play that we loved and cherished, explaining our absence. ;]

It's a shame, but it appears to be really early in development - and require a wee bit better hardware than the Xbox 360 can offer. :[

What? I guess that might have being your 'impression', but no. There's plenty of console players that absolutely loved it to disprove your point.

This and the whole Origin > Battlelog > PunkBuster gateway setup is probably reason enough to keep away from Battlefield 4 for quite a while on PC. Seriously, stop making such fragmented infrastructure that I need to launch several applications to get to where I want to go. Not to begin about switching from campaign

Looking closely at the teaser trailer, that idea might be implemented in a smaller way. At a point Faith runs through a glass tunnel, where the glass is shattering under her feet. Where upon she wall runs not to fall down. It's an interesting idea.

Would explain the three bottles of water, I guess.

Yeah, I remember seeing a Pet or Mount go for $800,-. Also insane to me.

Nor did I state it was "crap" for everyone. I didn't even state it was "shit". I generally expect that anyone is cable of realizing that I write out my opinion. Not some grand universal truth, if I had those to share I wouldn't be doing it in the comment section of a gaming culture blog site.

Evidently so, I don't get it and consider it a waste, but to each their own I guess? I guess I'll have to think twice about throwing away free stuff I get at shows and so on... might be worth a small fortune.

What's wrong with "shit"? Just because you are averse to it, doesn't mean I am. It's just not something I'd buy on the internet, or pay money for, let alone an obscene amount of money. Same with these plastic baubles.

$300,- for a piece of plastic in the shape of a seemingly horny frog dog hybrid. I suppose it is slightly better than buying turds online.

Wel, you're wrong! You said, "ever!" but then say, "Unless you know what you're doing"! Sense this does not make! ;)

Electronic Arts is by far that left the best impression, but that is no surprise. The general presentation was neatly segmented and each segment was exactly right in length, with perhaps the sport section being the only exception. But beyond that, they made the evening for me. If there's one thing I'd consider myself

Oh?

Both.

Well, most of the information is on there. Just region free and the disc swapping was note worthy. Though, in their defense, there wasn't any reason for them to abandon that, since... well, they've being doing both for a while. ;)
