I know this isn't what you're asking, but you might consider simply going with the classic: Dinner at her favorite restaurant [1], set ring box in front of intended and go down on one knee just before the dessert course, "I love you, I can't live without you, please marry me," "Yes! [acts surprised; isn't really],"

I was thinking the same and not just for people with tech-intensive careers.

"Neti'd my coffee" is good too

Good point.

Is Sheck attached? Because he and Susan Patton could really hit it off.

Yes, and I might add that presuming to speak for a group of which you are not a member indicates both a massive ego and a reality-check problem. For example, Mrs. Patton telling us all what it is men want.

To be honest, I'd would also be leery of getting a vaccine from someone who didn't glove up.

I bet every one of these idiots was vaccinated herself.

(a) Something I didn't realize until I had a dog: They have a social life. They like playing and hanging out with other dogs (assuming the other dogs aren't aggressive toward them). If your neighbors have dogs, chances are that they will become pals of your dog. (For this reason, you do want to get your dog neutered.)

Y'know, arguably the biggest practical change that comes from giving up religion is the realization that your sex life is your own. Outwardly, the change isn't much (you still have to answer to your partner, legal and biological limitations are the same, etc.), but not feeling that some deity is watching and

If I am to believe what I read on Wikipedia, as the one-child policy has resulted in a shortage of Chinese uteri, owners of those uteri are under pressure to use them, lesbian or not. As usual, the uterus owners are made out to be the villains in this.

Thank you for your answer. It's very gracious of you to do this.

I know I'm late for this, but: among TGs who've had surgery and/or hormone therapy, do you know if there are any particular health or medical problems that develop over the long term? If so, how are they treated?

This probably won't work with teenagers (and it's not like anyone asked either) but:

It's crap on IO9 (where I now spend much less time because it's too much bother to hunt down things I might want to read) and it's crap here (where I will clearly be spending less time as well).

My formula: count the number of hours you will be traveling and add a couple of hours for delays.

Serious question: Exactly where did you get that idea? What are you basing it on?

If you're in a strange city (or even if you're not), you might want to go for a nice walk. Excellent exercise combined with close-up sight-seeing (and possibly your commute, depending on why you're there and whether it's in walking distance).

Low genetic diversity? I had the impression that, at those depths, it's hard to get laid, even for species that normally live there; if that's true, relatively low genetic diversity should be common among them, no?

These are ostensibly normal people who walk around like you and me, speak and understand English, are mostly college educated . . . so why is it so hard for them to absorb the concept that the majority of Americans understand quite clearly what their positions are, and simply rejected them?
