It's like $11 in NYC. Glad I quit in 2006.

The problem here is that by the time they realized something was up the plane would be over a highly populated area already. Huge commercial jets fly over Manhattan all the time. Shooting down a jet liner at that point would still result in many more people being killed (other than the passengers on the plane). It's…
*IF* they were able to take it down, the wreckage would fall all over the city...so yeah...there's that.
I think that part of America's fear of China derives from the Chinese government's treatment of their own people. Despite being a near super power, they have an atrocious human rights record.
I would like to see some English version of this poster around the US.
"Protectionism and isolationism NEVER lead to advancement, just quick death"...how is that? I'm fairly sure the US was very isolationist just prior to World War II, and it did not lead to a quick death for the US. Not that I'm arguing for protectionism or isolationism.
Our weapons are #1. U-S-A U-S-A U-S-A!
b\c the Chinese are upstarts?
Apparently using satellite guided missiles does not count as the militarization of space.
Agreed...Japan would be an awful place to be.
Wait...Japan and the European countries that are not British are English speaking countries? I know that a fair amount of the populations of these countries speak English, but I'm fairly sure they are not "English speaking countries".
Yep, it's about the same for me. I've a few that are really trying, but even they do not update much.
It's possible. But I get email/facebook crap from these same people, so not likely.
Google+ = barren wasteland
Ha. True enough. it's definitely not a real borough (more of island made of trash), but technically it's part of NYC.
uhh Staten Island is one of the boroughs....so yeah New York. Good old Fresh Kills! I think New Jersey send their trash there too.
You must be standing near the trash cans...that's the one place the subway riders I've experienced don't throw their trash.
As an American I'd like to argue this point, but as someone who lives in NYC I have no counterpoint. Touché good sir.
uhhh yeah I think that refocusing of attention came in the 1980s with the walkman.
