My take on the situation: One person was actually a streamer, but made the mistake of keeping voice chat on the entire time so everyone else on the server would hear his commentary. The other players got sick of it and fought back by pretending to do the same thing.

We can at least hope he’ll lose the resemblance after he evolves and we can leave this horrible unpleasantness behind us. =)

I’ve been a reader of both Kotaku and Gawker, though the increasingly cynical nature of Gawker had been slowly killing me on my interest towards them. The whole Hulkmania ruling thing genuinely made me worry about Kotaku, that I’d have to say farewell to Fahey, Bashcraft, Richard (I miss you already), Totilo and the

I would absolutely be at peace with loot boxes if the system prevented duplicates. If I got a crate with nothing desirable in it, I could at least be happy with the knowledge I’ve thinned the pool of goodies out some.

I like MatPat. I’m subbed to him, I like his energy and editing, and I enjoy the way many of his videos make us think outside the box about some of our favorite games.

I had no idea Odoru Ponpokorin got revived; that’s incredible! Thank you for making my morning. =)

I’m familiar with Dunky, his humor isn’t usually sorta the type I can get myself into. I’m really glad I stuck with it though; the last thirty seconds were beautiful. =)

In addition to all of the above, as a closed beta player I’ve noticed a subtle shift happening in full release where players seem more likely to throw their support under the team bus in the event of a loss.

I said it back in the article about the WoW movie, and I’ll say it again: To The Moon.

I think, at it’s core, the reason so many games become movie stinkers in part has to do with how which games are selected to make the jump to the big screen. The ultimately disappointing films seem to be the ones picked solely on huge name recognition (WoW seems it will be a sample of this) instead of being based on

People petty enough to resort to DDoS attacks generally don’t care. It’s done just because they want to, and they can.

I’ve not been following up much on the post-release development of this; is traffic weirdness still a problem or has it mostly been resolved?

Dayum, Fox News. Now just keep scooting towards the light side. It’s not as scary over here as you think; take this window to redemption while it’s here!

You. I like the cut of your jib.

This is a really good decision for him. I love TB’s content whether it be reviews, criticism, or his hilarious Secret Hitler videos, though I had to unfollow him from Twitter a few years back because I just couldn’t stand the petty arguments he’d get into with other Twitter users. He does great work, and he seems like

You. I like you.

Holy crap. I was shocked not only by the character redesigns, but also by just how many of them they’ve released now. The last version I’ve owned was Fever (14), having to give the series up afterwards as 15+ dumped the PS2 and shifted to Arcade-only releases. Seeing it’s already eight generations later is more than a
