Was there supposed to be? I'm confused!

I feel fairly neuutral about the ending; I didn't loathe it nor did I love it. That said, I do sort of feel like the ending does indeed have an impact on the rest of the single player mode using my own motivation as an example.

I installed Origin for ME3 and I really don't find it all that intrusive. Heck, I launch Origin through steam so I have access to the Steam interface while in the game.

You're not in the minority; it's only that the opposition tends to be more vocal. If you or I like the article there's no real reason to post a "OMG Kotaku I love it when you post articles like these." whereas people who have an issue with it are more likely to say something in an attempt to address it.

It's a great ad for sure! I can partly understand why it's strictly within Japan though. I suppose if we were ever to see it in the west it'd be dubbed over with a disembodied narrator explaining the phenomenon. :)

The Suikoden series is my favorite series; I'll still pronounce it incorrectly now and again out of habit from when I was younger and wasn't familiar with Japanese pronunciation. :(
