No, that’s not how it works at all. There is plenty of evidence that supports the claim that moderate drinking during pregnancy does not carry elevated risk. Interpreting the lack of a double blind study in the way you have above is misleading and untruthful.

There’s no “safe” amount because, like the effects of a lot of chemicals on a pregnancy, you can’t ethically conduct a study.

Never mind. I live in Washington State (no state income tax) and wasn’t thinking about state taxes at all. I see down thread that’s your issue with electronic filing. I guess just the federal forms are available for free electronic filing.

I don’t think that’s correct. I file a pretty complicated tax packet electronically for free on IRS.gov. If you use the online tax software sites, sure they charge you for anything more complicated than a 1040EZ. But all the electronic forms are available for free directly from the IRS.

I’m currently seven months into a very difficult and complicated pregnancy, and even though it mostly really sucks it’s still awful fucking cool. It’s a pretty superior feeling to actively build a human from scratch.
