Out of curiosity, how many responded?

Nonissue: the environment is always changing.

Non issue. Patents exist not to cause the evolution of the patent holder, but of the competitors to teh patent holder. In other words, HTC sees a patent by Apple (whether by research or infringement) and has to design new technologies to compete that are different, new and do no infringe. As a result, you now have two

Also, Apple is not a patent troll. Patent trolls are actually called NPEs (NonPracticing Entities) for a reason: They are companies with patents that don't actually MAKE anything with those patents, and likely don't license them.

WADR, Brent, that's not how innovation moves forward. If you want to take Darwinism as an analogy (my degree is in evolutionary biology, so let's ROLL!!! ;-) ), species only change when pressured. If there are no survival pressures being applied, there's no pressure to adapt and change.

My theory is that, IF we 'shot' it down, there was some intelligence to teh effect that this was more than a Mars rover/drone/satellite.

I still don't get it. How would radar cause an engine fail to ignite?

Anyone who has ever built a computer knows how bad of an idea this is. I know I always forget to plug something in/forget a cable/etc, and have to take it all apart because I closed the case w/o testing.

For me, specifically, Cables, mouse pads, USB storage, computer cases and cd/dvd drives. I never go off brand for mice, computer PSUs, or ram.

Here's the golden rule:

Here's a good solution: Don't talk on the phone while you drive.

I'll give it to you as a close second. They share similar stylings, but when the B1b's wings are extended, it's pretty fugly.

LOL, mY father worked for General Dynamics back in the day selling the things. His name is on most of the contracts that sold them to foreign countries. But they are so well designed, aesthetically.

Sexiest airplane ever made.

Caterpillars. Wasps (at least the P. Fusactus pictured and studied) eat other bugs and LOVE caterpillars. They only feed plant products to their young, and chew leaves to make their nests.

Just make sure you hit home when you swing, otherwise that wasp will remember you!

Elizabeth Tibbets and I both worked for the same Master's research professor (albeit a few years apart), also with wasps @ Oakland University, in SE Michigan. While my research wasn't as cool (I tested their ability to recognize relatives as compared to an invasive species' ability to do the same), it's great to see

You're wrong. SO WRONG. There are many instances when the government is legally allowed to prevent or disperse assembly. In fact, it's more of a balancing between the public interest, the protester's interests and the government's interest (here, the city).

Again, if I physically resisted an officer as part of his traffic stop, then I would deserve a mouthful of pepper spray.

And YOU can avoid this by not becoming an Occutard. That's right, when the police as you to move, get up and move.
