Sorry, #3, but people will call you Gingerballs. They'll call you Gingerballs. They don't know what they see, they just see Gingerballs. ...Gingerballs.

Not really complaining, because I can get used to the current colour, but yesterday everything was blue. Blue links, anyways. And since the rest of everything was white, well, everything was blue. And that blue? That blue was fantastic. Much nicer to look at than the bright pink the links currently are. My eyes were…
Agreed. I like Claudia Black, and she did a good job with Chloe, but I can't see her as being a good fit for Elena's personality. It'd just sound strange.
I can't say I've cancelled on anyone because of games before, but I definitely skipped out on work and doing vastly boring things with my sister on her birthday the day Arkham Asylum came out (it's okay: she understood).
Cole MacGrath, not Phelps. A bit too much LA Noire, I'm thinking.
Component for audio, plus a DVI adapter with my HDMI cable for video (older projection TV) for me. So people still do.
If I remember right, the actual reason was because there was some company sitting on the patent for the rumble feature who had sued the hell out of basically everyone for last gen's consoles and Sony basically said "screw it" and just left it out. Then they eventually caved.
On the one hand, yes, if there were no way to pirate a game (or other digital media), chances are sales would be higher.
See, I find in simple conversation that FemShep has a very slight edge in the "better" voice department (at least in ME2); emotions tended to be a bit more subtle and she didn't seem like she was speaking rather loudly for a person right beside her.
Good ending: enjoyed it overall. Mostly, though, it'll be interesting to see if they try to make a third game out of the series — with the somewhat suspicious lightning-flashes at the end (and one that apparently looks a bit like a question mark according to a comment on here a week or so ago) it's possible that…
@Rokeden: Nope. I was waiting for it to go on a decent sale on Steam before I was going to pick it up. Now it may never happen.
@QualityJeverage: And further rewarding stealthy players makes it all the better. Too many matches in ACB have everyone just sprinting non-stop which is a lot less fun.
From Joel Johnson: "Kotaku will not be covering Warner Bros. video games for the next 3 months due their use of NDAs to lock in exclusives with other outlets."
Same here. Seemed foolish at first, since a NDA is pretty common. Boing Boing's little snippet that explains it better helped out. [www.boingboing.net]
And there was much rejoicing.
I like to hold out hope that the conspiracy stuff, even the minor stuff mentioned in the Subject 16 files (like how Roosevelt wrote a letter saying the Templars were sending a Piece of Eden to Hitler) are going to actually mean something in the end of the series. I don't know how, per se, they could do so, since it…
Probably the biggest gripe I have with the AI is that it seems whatever team you're on (note: playing solo for now) seems to forget that you have secondary objectives that need to be completed. So if a barricade needs blowing up so you can reach the primary, they just run around shooting, leaving you to do everything…
I really don't understand all the hate Sony's getting for this (and I'm someone who's probably got his CC on there. Might've removed it, but can't double check, obviously), especially since they're getting more hate than whoever broke in. An intrusion means someone broke through their security, not that someone tried.…
@QualityJeverage: It was a tad short. Good thing they'll probably fix that in Mirror's Edge 2.
Nowadays, in most games, there's no reason not to have both. Let the player save whenever (within reason; mid-fight or other situations like that notwithstanding), and have at least some kind of checkpoint, even if it's just after a chapter starts or something.
