@NoelVeiga: There definitely has to be stuff software-side. I'm not sure what the specifics of what they need to code in (I'll admit to not really following 3DS stuff all that much), but at the very least they need to specify what needs to be projected as opposed to appearing on-screen and then get that projecting…
@PSWii2008: Good place (and very quick place) to get fairies is to warp to the Forest Temple (not going inside, obviously), then run down the stairs, past the club guy, then up the ladder at the very bottom. Up top there there's a hole, and voila: fairies every time.
@TheRevanchist2: Its finishing moves will be tame enough for Australia.
He doesn't play games. That's okay. I don't think it's necessarily a requirement to make a game movie, though it would certainly help.
Willow's still in business? Fantastic. Figured their minor relocation might have hurt business. I went there at least once or twice a month when I lived in Cloverdale, from the time I was 6 or 7 up to 15. Its survival pleases me to no end.
@RockyRan: I hear ya. First week of assignments being due, and I didn't even completely finish any of them, one of them being that I just don't understand one of the basic things I need to know for the class.
Portal link just relinks back to this article. Which is, I guess, a kind of Portal-ish thing to have happen.
@sereal: Not to be a dick, but it doesn't sound like you really know much about the industry.
@Manly McBeeferton: Assuming they actually get recent games on there
@DaRealCaboose: I wouldn't say so. There's certainly some early scares, but many of those become (somewhat) predictable later on (at least to me), so when you see certain things you'll go "oh, this is going to happen."
@Kryptolojik: Further interviews reveal that the truck driver was playing with his PSP and DS while attempting to also play his unlit Gameboy Advance on that dark, dreary day.
@shkm: I'm pretty sure you've just poisoned the minds of nearly everyone on Kotaku. Congratulations.
@Hartia: It was actually called Canada West beforehand. I can't remember the reason, but I remember looking at my history textbook and going "what the hell is this backwards nonsense."
@TiltingMills: I thought the same, except the 2 is, I imagine, just them saying "You star, too"
Maybe it's because it's the beta, maybe it's because I've got AdBlock (like, I imagine, the majority of users), but numerous times pages seemed to freeze halfway into loading. I'm not sure if that's a result of, again, the beta, or if it's a result of the page acting up to the video ads people are pointing out getting…
@DoctorDynamite: CTRL+SHIFT+B hides/shows the bookmark toolbar. Lots of people, like myself, like that you get more page-space than other browsers — Firefox, IE, Opera, etc. all take up more screen space at top and bottom than Chrome does.
@70x7brandnew: I was actually going to bring up Madden as another example of how I'm looking at it, but you saved me the trouble.
@eduardjm: I wasn't referring to the setting at all, but to the prevalence of basketball in other countries. If I thought that way, there'd be no point in thinking anything could qualify for GOTY. Sci-fi and western stories are enjoyed worldwide, with movies and books written by people across the globe. Same with…
I'd like to try to give this a fair try as GOTY, but there's a problem I've run into, as many of the editors have: I'm not a fan of basketball. I can't even play with friends who are fans of basketball and try to judge it from that position, because none of them are. And those that have played it with their friends…
