Sigh... You know, if they wanna masturbate to it, they should just say they want to masturbate to it. We’ll all appreciate the honesty.

“War-a. War-a never-a changes.”

In this case, these fakes are unlicensed reproductions of something that is a desirable property. The banana wasn’t (or probably wasn’t) a copyrighted image. Pikachu is. Here, that means two things:

I’m sure they’re trying to stop fake imports, but at the ground level, I’m wondering about the rate of success.

I’m living in Korea, I love Pokemon, and I’m addicted to these claw games [and not THAT terrible at them!]

I’d estimate like 20-50% of the prizes could be fake, and there’s definitely a strong incentive for

My only gentle, kind, considerate suggestion to the Metroid Prime 4 team:

This. Over time this will hurt Sony. If I’m a customer I’d rather play the game where I have three platforms worth of players to play with as opposed to just one . Devs will see it too as you said. Sony will cede customers and devs back to Nintendo which is beyond ironic

Sony seem to have this mentality lately of “we have sold more consoles so fuck our customers they bought them anyway so why do good things?” Not a good long term game plan . MS seem the best lately in terms of giving owners what they want which surprises no one more than myself. Nintendo finally seemcto be listening

I’m actually really glad they’re still teasing a big confrontation between him and Samus. if he’s the villain in Prime 4 it could be really cool.

this guy. he hates Samus and the Federation.

The action-y take they seem to be doing with the Metroid 2 remake has me worried they didn’t learn anything from Other M. The melee swing and how things move really don’t show off the exploration and platforming the series is known for.

Totally with you on all of this... I’ve often thought about how Other M is basically a remake of fusion. Linear, story-driven action game on a spaceship with a hub that connects to nature-based sub-areas. Adam pushes you around the station, dolling out upgrades when he says, part of the station gets ejected, fight

Because Samus Returns looks like a game from 1997 while AM2R looks like a game from 2017. Pixel art ages extremely well, especially when it properly scales to modern resolutions the way AM2R does. 3D rendering at 3DS resolution does not age well... because it’s very small and has no way to scale to modern resolutions.

Nintendo did this same thing with Prime and Fusion releasing together. Anyway I’m kind of bummed the 2d one is in 3DS. Why. Any it be on Switch? Nintendo need to let the 3DS die instead of splitting up these games so much

I really want to love this game but I’m afraid it’s going to end up being a novelty. I just get this sense that coordinating on the ship is going to end up like Kerbal Space Program every single time. It looks and sounds great though and I’m still gonna give it a shot.

AMR2, based on this trailer, looks like it was far better. It is just as possible that this was hobbled together because of AMR2... and it looks like it was slammed together.

Valve? Positive public image? What?

Of all guys to do this to, CD Projekt Red doesn’t seem like the best choice. The world seems majorly endeared to these guys and this bullshit probably won’t be tolerated by the Internet Hive Mind.

Inb4 the group event is “catch X number of a specific type in X amount of times! Do the same thing as before but together!”
With more than hundreds of pretty cool suggestions on their subreddit, I refuse to believe they’ll actually go ahead and do one of them because Niantic.
