NCSoft made Carbine do so many things such as release early before it was ready and in a time where it is very hard to push MMORPG’s. That along with other practices pushes for cash. You knew this would happen sooner or later. NCSoft has even caused quite a few issues within Arenanet with Guild Wars.

Ya, I will only see this as a bad thing. Korean developers are well known for abusing anything they get their hands on. They will bleed something dry in their own country and try to do it elsewhere. These develops make all the loot box and other issues everywhere else look saintly.

What did you expect? I mean even the animation looks tame. Anime as a whole has largely just become one giant blob of standardized animation or stories. FLCL required more then most are willing to give today.

Honestly had you stopped at Star Ocean: The Second Story I’d support you but in reality it has been flagging for a long time. So while seeing another game go to mobile blows. It isn’t like the series had hope at this stage anyways.

It doesn’t bother me in the least. Parents these days have largely stopped being parents in many ways. They dismiss things like hacking as how it is or do not even do research into what their kids are doing. Ya it can suck not knowing a ton about the subject matter but she let it go.

I enjoy it as a kill time in a moment kinda game. I’ve never felt pressured to purchase any leaf currency. It would be nice to get more day to day variety though to get what you want. Maybe even that clothes crafting...

Nothing about this is wrong at all. It does not matter if it is just cosmetics. The way that even Activision Blizzard goes about it is no different. They are trying to invoke the same responses to get the same money. It is gambling that skirts the laws by using virtual currencies and it needs to be regulated.
