I too cringe- and keep reading usually, trying to keep in mind that I'm looking at it from a 21st century point of view. Unless you know- I'm reading some weird book that I didn't realize was written for some Neo-Nazi organizations popoganda that I didn't know about, then I'd put it down for obvious reasons.

I've never heard the "you're playing it wrong" before in regards to this. If you're fine with the way you play- that's great. No one is telling you what to do. This is Kotaku, they're looking for article hits.
