Heh, it’s no problem. I think I’ve been coming to io9 too long, as I’m to the point of purposely not click on articles by certain authors (so they don’t get the hits), from a site that I used to enjoy because it was simply a science fiction blog, but has become something different all together.
what are you talking about? You’re missing the entire point. He posts sensationalized medical science stories, with occasional posts about not using any animals in medical research which were undoubtedly used in his science posts, and of all places: a science fiction blog from a media site, hence “soap box.” Though to…
okay, whatever you say, thanks for enlightening addition to the comments section
Seriously? It’s really obviously in support of, in addition to his other posts.
So, when you’re not posting science articles, you use io9 as your occasional soap-box.
For even when I have no idea what the hell is going on- it does it so beautifully.
This is my absolute guilty pleasure. After a crazy train ride that was True Blood and giving up on Once Upon a Time being for being a shit show, Penny Dreadful fills that space well for me.
He’s probably still rowin’.
He’s partially right. 1 was destroyed in a hangar collapse, there’s the one in the article which belongs to Kazakhstan, one on exhibit in Moscow that was never completed, one dismantled, and the last one is rotting outside of Moscow after partial dismantling.
So rule... #35? If there’s a porn parody, there’s a non-porn fan film of equal quality?
That’s pretty Kerbal.
Well... that will give me nightmares.
GAH- MAH FEELS.
I like how the audience is being balanced out: long time readers of the books are now going into the dark and have nothing to hold over views of the show. Though I will miss looking to my friends faces when something shocking was about to happen and laughing my ass off at their reactions.
Lab safety guy and all around general buzz kill here: that is an incredibly stupid idea to build that. A 5-500 milliwatt laser is enough to cause permanent eye damage with just a glancing reflection off of a surface. That thing will fry your eyes.
Really enjoyed the first one, and the second one was not as good but at least enjoyable mostly. I had no idea there’s a 3rd one.
Platinum is already worth more than gold.
I love the tape.
Hah yeah I guess. She said something along the lines of given the scene, she thought it would just naturally happen that way.
