Blipshift recently had a Brat t-shirt design, and I almost got it because it showed off those cool double-double rectangular headlights.

Agreed. An electric Grom would have to do a little better than 20 miles per charge, or else e-bikes will be a better value. Fun fact: Yamaha patented the first e-bike in 1993. There’s a short, silly NHK TV show called Japan’s Top Inventions, and they had an episode on that. Yamaha makes some awesome bikes:

Good point (see how much mixed messaging is in these guidelines?). But I stand by my commitment not to go to an indoor concert unless there is a vaccination mandate (there won’t be). I will contine to go to outdoor summer music festivals like Newport Folk. And as for restaurants, I will simply dine outdoors during

I didn’t say I don’t trust authority. I don’t trust ordinary people who aren’t educated on SARS viruses, like governors Abbott, Cuomo and DeSantis.

Oh my gawd, I will never sit inside a Chili's again! The horror.

My feelings match the current CDC guidelines.

Did you read the part of my comment where I said I’ve been fully vaccinated?

I want to believe that every day Gaetz remains in office does severe damage to the GOP. But alas, it has no effect. But Ilhan Omar! My gawd that monster must be arrested and tortured!

The special treatment this is receiving is infuriating. Also, it’s California, where suing anyone is 10 times easier than nearly any other state, and a murder trial that should have taken less than 4 weeks took 11 months. I still hate you, Lance Ito. You lost control of your court.

You’re absolutely correct. New York has a spike in cases because we reopened indoor dining and gyms too soon. Young people are going into those businesses and they are testing positive. Texas has a slight advantage in that it has more outdoor options for socializing and the population is generally more spread out. I

So I guess you’ve been on a plane since February 2020? What absolutely necessary trip did you have to make?

Every hear of outdoor dining? We New Yorkers can dine outdoors March through November if we're lucky. Not a huge sacrifice to make.

I like your answer. I will just add that while I keep my mouth shut and don’t scold strangers, I see a total lack of effort from most Americans to starve this virus. Right now, you can tune into sporting events in Australia and see full capacity stadiums of unmasked people. Yes, it’s an island. Yes, it isn’t allowing

Since I work at a hospital, I’m very good at keeping my kf-94 mask on for hours. So flying will not be an issue for me. Children and Texans, apparently, are terrible at keeping their masks on.

Juse going to share my thoughts because I don’t think what I’m doing is shaming. I work in a NYC hospital. I got my second Moderna dose on January 26. But I have decided to be very, very slow going forward as far as socializing goes. I will never eat or drink in an enclosed bar or restaurant again. I will never go to

Cuomo violated his own HR’s sexual harassment policy. Being Italian, or old fashioned, or lonely are not excuses. He’s a bad guy.

Well, I’m sick of Cuomo supporters bringing up Trump (Trunp never resigned, so neither should Cuomo, the argument goes)! So I'm bringing up Gaetz! All of them are bad men. Lump them all together.

Gaetz is being indicted very, very soon. Could be just days now.

And so now we must ask (gulp) our corporations to get on the correct side of history and help us win. They did it with same sex marriage. They are helping us fight voter suppression. They wisely stayed out of the 50 year struggle to legalize weed (which was better than them opposing it). And now they must help us
