I’m a lifelong Star Trek fan and also believe that there is a lot of room in that universe to explore all kinds of stories and ideas, especially ones that challenge the ideology. DS9 is the series I have enjoyed the most.

Later in the interview, Kurtzman stated he “wants to get much weirder” with the Star Trek franchise and begin “pushing the boundaries much further than I think most people would want.”
Famous doesn’t always mean wealthy.
Alien - corporate sends space truckers to deliver research package
Aliens - corporate sends extraction team to find lost package
Alien 3 - package diverted to Amazon fulfillment center, nearly destroyed
Alien Resurrection - corporate brings product to testing phase
AVP - nope never happened
AVP2 - also just nope
Prometheus…
Seriously - I actually think they want to tank this site. No one could think this Is a good design or format. If they do - put the UX person on here for a public flogging.
You are not wrong. Not having a “latest” link for io9 means that I just don’t go to that page anymore. Don’t know if I’m missing anything or not, but that’s just the way it goes.
Great.
Am I missing something? I see no connection other than the origins of the festival or party or whatever that would tie her to KKK leanings. If dumbass Black people wanted to join that bullshit, that’s of course their choice but I don’t see where she was personally connected to the KKK or even racism. I also think it’s…
This is tough for me. I’m an adoptee, from one of her orphanages. So, this idea of her as a saint was a huge foundational belief throughout my childhood/teenage years. My parents still lay my survival (abandoned at a MofC chapter house in Western India) squarely at her feet.
“Is there a tibetan actor who could’ve done that?”
Who was this “panel of experts”? All I could find was a statement from the hospital that four of the six panel members were Black, allegedly.
Mr. BK has always said that Them! was a mystery disguised as a monster movie. It’s very deliberate, with nothing played for laughs and every piece of evidence carefully examined until - like the article says - the only supportable theory is that it’s giant ants.
Wait. When I die, I want to glitter bomb the universe with MY soul.
Funny thing is, I believe her... I think she was Fred Trump.
So....if it was against the law to pull her over in the first place (as I have been told by cops a few times: ignorance is not a defense of the law) and the prosecutor says she should not have been removed from the car ipso facto shouldn’t the pig, err....officer be removed from his position as he clearly doesn’t know…
So would you say this has caused the franchise owners to go into full...meltdown?
*Wonders if there’s any significance in it moving from Freja’s day to Odin’s day.*
These conspiracies you mention have nothing to do with the UFO phenomenon, which has had fully respectable witnesses over the years. The way you react to it, shows fear on your part — or at least lack of thinking widely. Disappointing reading your reply about journalists doing their jobs.
Yeah, this is basically my thought about the double-tape-measure design. You ever tried to get a tape measure to stay extended a metre out? Flop city. I’m sure they’re reinforcing it somehow, but I just can’t imagine how they’d do it well enough that two of them can be whacked against each other.
First off...that’s awesome. Basically my childhood fantasy. However, I will note that it looks awfully fragile. Almost as if moving it extended would make the lit part wobble separately from the hilt. I can’t exactly tell, but it almost looks like you get a hint of that once it extends. She’s very careful to stay…
