Heartbreaking and brilliant.

Pine sounds like he knows what he’s talking about. But I’m not sure that I agree that “Star Trek is doing pretty good in television right now.” It’s doing… “ok” at best.

I like Move Along Home.  It’s silly and quirky.

Move Along Home (the board game episode) and Profit and Lace (the Quark cross-dressing episode) are the only truly unwatchable episodes to me.

It’s the only Star Trek show which has done continuity properly, by building current events on previous ones in an organic fashion, rather than trying to take maybe a single 45-minute episode’s worth of plot and stretch it over ten or fifteen weeks (hello, Discovery!). Its mix of standalone and continuity-heavy

I’ll say it again. Remaster Ds9 and Voy to the same quality as TNG. Release one or two episodes a week of both on Paramount Plus, that’s easily two to three years worth of content that fans WILL pay for. Once the run is over, release both complete series on blu ray and make Paramount Plus the only streamer with the

Harley Quinn, but the animated version from the series in a Mature-rated game. I want mini-games where I can be Bane blowing up froyo stands and Clayface acting my way out of trouble. Come on, that would be awesome, right?

“The Discovery crew shows about as much discipline as the freshman class at a liberal arts college.”

Exactly.  Written by children for children.

The Critical Drinker makes some good points and the comparison of character interactions between Discovery and Next Generation crew members is spot on.

Now playing

Discovery gets a mention, as a case in point, in this video I came across yesterday.

She deliver an Oscar worthy performance here. So is Timothee as Paul.

I saw it in an IMAX theatre with an absurdly large screen, a sound system that nearly shattered my coccyx, and 45 minutes of previews and commercials.

Finally, a sex doll for people who are fans of Spider-Man and Boxing Helena.

I nominate Gizmodo to purchase Qux, and let us know what it does

Ironic that he’ll be the one answering to the name Gideon this time.

The best part of this, very goood episode, was djimon hounsou having the time of his life with his fan obsesed character. kinda wish i saw him in more comedic roles

Same could be said for Loki which places hundreds of multi-verses In play.  Marvel Is swinging for the fences here.

the name Captain Britain is already taken....
