That's a good point. I haven't tried multiplayer yet but I certainly will when the game stabilizes.

This spoke to my soul. I was playing this morning and waiting for the "online game" trappings to kick in and they never do. It's a fun single player game with a side of anxiety praying your connection doesn't falter. It's odd.

Microsoft won’t play ball. They’ve tried to get Microsoft to let them do releases over the years and they won’t do it.

Yeah... it would be a real shame if Star Citizen’s release were delayed by a week.

I have been in public policy for decades and I am just completely shocked that this is happening. I have never, ever seen so much good and progressive policy get passed all at once, so quickly.

Good, now let’s pass HR1 and PR and DC statehood, or this will be an ephemeral victory.

Typical lib sheeple. Totally distracted by this fluff while the real issues are how Antifa and BLM have castrated Mr. Potatohead and the classic books of Dr. Seuss have been ripped out of our children’s hands! None of this...none!... would’ve happened if Gawd’s Chosen One hadn’t been betrayed by Judas Pence!

Te Cait Sith monster you can capture with this class is busted. He can literally freeze Bosses.

This looks cool. Now how do I cast myself away to an alternate dimension where it isn’t being developed for phones.

Isn’t the point of being trans to have a physical form that matches your own internal identity? What’s stopping you from picking a character that matches your own identity?

Great! Now sell it to me on Switch!

Yeah, I'll take Guy Who Is Taking Too Long With The Checks over Insurrectionist Proto-Hitler any day of the week.

Ummm... the entire hobby game industry was $1.675 billion in 2019. (https://icv2.com/articles/markets/view/46196/hobby-game-sales-hit-1-675-billion-2019)
That includes board games but also miniatures games, card games (including Magic the Gathering) and roleplaying games. Board games occupy <$400 million of that.

@America: The Snyder Cut (great username btw)

I didn't like Cyberpunk at all for reasons they can't fix and it's wearing thin on me as well. A video game developer trying to bring something forward in a niche market they don't have experience working in deciding to go with crowd funding makes sense to me.

I have to admit, I’m getting a bit tired of the snark too. Sometimes it’s just okay to like something or be excited about it without being constantly reminded that there’s no such thing as ethical consumption in a post-capitalist society.

Can most of the male writers on this site not write articles that sound like you’re all fucking sneering at your keyboards when you have to talk about something/one/etc that you’re not exactly 100% fans of?

I don’t know if the video game audience is the same size as the board game audience. As Outrider mentioned, other well-known board games based on video games were also put on Kickstarter for fundraising.

I think putting these board games on Kickstarter isn’t a bad idea, as it gives the creators insight into how much

Now playing

I prefer the one you get when you’re going DOWN the mountain, realizing half the game is still in front of you.
