The original Femshep is great for a career soldier who is a longstanding veteran. The new version was drek.

Have to say, I almost got the PC Engine mini just for Ys 1 & 2, in order to hear the music... it was raved about when I was a kid but it was a console I hadn’t seen anywhere. So now I get to play it and... the music is fine too!

Seems like most japanese games music (and anime series) use more prog-rock / jazz -style of

I love the original Mass Effect trilogy and it is hands down one of my (if not THE) most beloved sci-fi properties ever.

I've not played any of the Ys games, but these tracks sound fun. I'm getting a late 90s early 2000s Capcom vibe. Like these would not sound out of place in a later Mega Man X game.

You can always tell a Mike Fahey article just by reading it.

God I hope this thread doesn’t become a shitshow. Here goes:

I think that’s also endemic of (a) “fair and balanced” journalism still (mistakenly) means that you need to give every side of an argument equal representation no matter how insignificant their minority might be or if they’re acting in bad faith, and (b) outrageous stories get eyes on your product and clicks on

You should delete your account over this truly horrendous take.

People died, guy... and we’re pretty lucky that it wasn’t significantly more people.

Every last one of you fuckers can burn in hell.

If this whole thing wasn’t, as you said, a vanity project of a dumb, racist, sexist pile of human shit I’d be incredibly excited...as it stands, it’s just a $15 Billion dollar bad joke...

But we can’t have a measly $600 stimulus cause of “the deficit”...ffs....

Blasters already exist. That's the joke. The whole strip builds up to the simple statement blasters exist and lightsabers are stupid.

Here at kotaku, we once again have derogatory articles from people who don't know what they are talking about.

I know the ludicrous amount of money Star Citizen has raised has made it into something of a punching bag, but I think the OP makes a good point: "It can't not make money now." That's actually a pretty tough position to be in. I've put probably close to $100 toward this game, picking up two ships and a couple of

YS music is just so damn cool x). Great example. I'm trying to find playthroughs of the turbografx version of I&II just to hear these awesome tunes but it's harder than I thought it would be (without hearing someone's commentary at least xD).

Now playing

Bravely Default's music is great. But the YS I&II soundtrack is still the ridiculous guitar video game music I bow down to.

"where players customize iconic Star Wars ships". "You ready to engage, Red One? There's an Imperial Star Destroyer coming into our sector. We've got to defend the base." "No, wait...I'm buying a R2D2 decal for my Y-Wing, and chrome tips for my cannons. It's 50% off today, so only $4.99!"

I'd love to play through the Witcher games one of these days. I started the first Witcher at some point within the last year but stopped after the prologue. I remember the controls being a little wonky, but nothing I couldn't overcome. Maybe when I've got some free time I'll actually play through it.

Necro, no the review is not a joke! You can tell that by reading it, can't you? All you're showing me of these other reviews are their review scores. I don't take numbers on a game seriously. They're, at best, a way to roughly gauge what a reviewer thought about the game, but nothing beats actually reading or watching
