You’re right, I messed up. It was the PS4 version that was broken as shit.

That’s weird - I had the PC version (as did several friends of mine) and we all played it on release. It had a few bugs, but nothing outside of the ordinary for open-world games.

You’re correct, the PS4 version was broken. Whoops :/

They’re sort of right. It was playable on base PS4, pretty good on PS4 Pro, and worked really well on PC. And it was absolutely the cool thing to do to hate on it for a long time. The internet does this - at any given time, you can find a mediocre or even fine game that the internet collectively just wants to shit on.

B

On one hand: you’re right and it’s subjective. So long as it’s pretty close that’s fine

On the other hand: Nope, VI still needs to be #1

On the gripping hand: I don’t have nearly as much reverence for IX as others, but putting below X-2 is mind blowingly review

You absolutely could! It’s a matter of taste. But VI (for me) really hit that sweet spot of having a relatively mature and interesting story, dealt with consequences, and did it without descending into nonsense or overly complicated plotlines.

Wonder would make perfect sense for Mario to sound different, because the entire game is about Mario being unbelievably high

Garriott’s actually kind of okay here - in this case, his organization has submarines that have already explored the titanic a few times. This is one of the few times when this rich tech leader can actually contribute, because they’ve already done similar things and actually do have resources.

It’s not a case of Elon

Garriott remains kind of awesome. I really wish this guy could get back to designing games with an actual team, since his kickstarter game is neat but thoroughly weird.

I keep trying to replay XIII and I’m currently in the middle of my 4th or 5th attempt to play through it. And the sad thing is I can see where a lot of good stuff is in it!

But jesus fuck it screws up hugely on pacing, describing the world, melodrama and a bunch of other things. It takes 5-6 hours before the

As always when I see these things: If VI is not on the top of the list, you and I are going to have words.

VII is pretty great! But VI just seems like it comes together much better, and was the last FF game that didn’t have a pretentiously weird plot and had a fairly grounded world - and it’s the first FF game where

I’m excited about a third of these, but I gotta say: Star Ocean 2 remake and a Mario RPG remake? I’m fucking THERE. Both of those are excellent and both really would benefit from a remake, and these look fantastic.

If they make a Zelda movie, I’m sure it’ll be pretty decent. Super Mario was a lot of fun, especially for kids and it made stupid amounts of money.

If they make a Zelda movie it’ll be considerably more serious but still quippy, the animation will be fantastic, and I would imagine a lot less poppy music. And I would

I mean, yeah. But so far as we know, things only started changing from the original timeline around when Cloud shows up in Midgar. I guess they can change that too.

I’d heard that quote and assumed that it was basically Sephiroth screwing with Cloud, or it was creatively edited to suggest Tifa when it doesn’t make any

Wait, what was the “wild twist” that was teased?

I haven’t seen the movie yet, so I really don’t know. But putting a trans flag into the movie doesn’t mean much in terms of her own identity. She’s an ally for sure. But as others have noted, the “trans flag” her dad wears is just his service ribbons so one of the pieces of evidence cited is already wrong.

If she had

I mean, I wrote English essay for school on the barest evidence just for the challenge of it. It’s fun!

If you’re going to compare this to real life, do you know a lot of NYC cops like Miles’ dad who openly cooperate with vigilantes? I don’t think any of this is persuasive, but YMMV.

As a CIS white guy I always worry about venturing into this kind of discussion and I haven’t seen the movie yet (Monday!). But the evidence above seems pretty unpersuasive and it’s not hinted at anywhere else in her character. Having to hide half your life from your loved ones is a recurring theme of Spider-man (and

Crossguard + Staff is the way to go in-game. Good high-damage single target and AOE, good defense, reasonably quick.
