You guys are missing one of the most obvious: Pistol Whip, which is on most VR platforms and is basically a musical John Wick simulator.

I’m sure we’ll get it in “Starfield: Hearthfire” or something.
I know you’re joking, but you’re totally right:
1. It’s been in development FOR FUCKING EVER
2. It’s something special, that it has some pretty devoted players
SC’s major patches usually break things pretty badly for a couple days, to the point where a lot of veteran players give it a week or so anyway. This particular patch completely re-wrote the backend and they warned 6 months ago it was going to be more unstable than most.
But yeah, it’s pretty broken this week. I can…
Like, I don’t think the russian people are necessarily the ‘enemy’ of Ukrainians. The Russian government definitely is, and they punish lack of support harshly.
But yeah, saying this is “politics” is stupidly reductive and insulting.
This sounds plausible but I honestly have no idea what’s the usual amount of money made from Russian localizations.
Good for them. These hackers are fucking awful: “Just because our country is literally trying to murder you is no reason for you to not... localize the game for Russians”.
Entitled pricks. Like, sorry - the devs aren’t monkey forced to dance for your amusement.
I finished this last night, and I’ve decided that Forspoken is a pretty great game sabotaged by tons of bad decisions. The core is great and I love playing it, but they made a lot of odd choices that are just bizarre, and it felt like they collapsed the back half of the game into 2 hours and had to cram a bunch of…
I’m in CA too, and can’t speak to your social group or your age. But I can say when I was 34" at 6', I wasn’t regarded as fat. But then, I mostly hung out with academics and engineers and those are generally not the most fit people.
Yep. I imagine you deal with this a lot - you’re pretty far outside of the norm in terms of height, so you probably get caught up in a lot of body generalizations. Apologies.
You’re mostly correct! I’m not suggesting that it’s wack, though - just that 40" isn’t thin for almost any body type, though for some it can be average.
I’m about 6'. 38" is overweight but not by a ton, for example.
You’re right, it’s a single demo piece. Which is nice, but in that case... they should just make all four.
Looks like an exhibit. Which is nice, but in that case... they should just make all four.
While I think they probably should have designed this to be more accommodating, but less than 40" waistline isn’t “thin”, at least for dudes.
Source: I’m around 38" and I’m a bit of a fat fuck.
That’s totally true. It suffered a lot from having a huge profile.
Oh, I don’t know. When I see a bunch of racist assholes attacking something that’s pretty decent, supporting the person that’s being attacked is a perfectly legitimate response. The key is that the thing has to be decent.
Oh hell. We all know the Honey Bee is going to win the Lego contest.
Honestly, it should have been the boss fight against the haunted robotic house or against the Airbuster buss. Then we get minifigs for the major characters, a goofy/awesome monster, and a good battle scene.
Honestly, if they really wanted to drive adoption they would partner with Meta on Quest2/3 or QuestPS or something. A simple standalone headset that can also interface wirelessly with the PS5 for much better games and visuals, and it would benefit enormously from PS branding.
I’m not surprised.
I pre-ordered this thing on a lark. But there’s no killer app, and “it’s VR” isn’t a great selling point when there’s already so many other good VR sets out there. But this is expensive and limited to just PS5 - it’s not independent or untethered like the Quest, and can’t be plugged into a PC either.
The demo was bad anyway - it’s good that you didn’t play it much.
I play on performance mode on PS5 and that plays remarkably well - no real technical issues to speak of. I’ve gotten some frame dips when there’s a truly ridiculous amount of stuff going on at once (mostly when you’re firing off your charged up huge…
