Musk’s entire brand has been “edgy asshole troll” for the last 5 years, but the problem is that eventually everyone starts to... think of you and your brand as “asshole”.

And yeah, Musk is kind of the pre-eminent asshole in social media at this point. And he’s not happy about it.

The basic playthrough (doing ONE path) is less than 20 minutes.

But really, a non-exhaustive playthrough where you do a lot of the exploring you want to do, go through several paths will take a couple hours. There will still be a lot more to do, but you can take it or leave it at that point

He is! But he’s not a good version of the character.

BL3 kind of butchered Rhys a little, and there wasn’t ever any explanation for why the other characters didn’t show up at all.

I’m hopeful they snag some of the original authors for this, as the original is one of my favorite games and I still sometimes re-watch pieces of it.

Eh. It’s a shit fight. Very gimmicky and you can see a lot of other players think similarly.

It’s epic the first time you do it, and the boss is fairly vulnerable to a lot of cheesy builds. But it takes a lot of tries, and the fact that people are resorting to the cheese builds and lame strategies with him when they

The initial approach is really easy once you figure it out, just tedious. Rolling, blocking with the spears or tanking it with a shield are all pretty viable.

It’s everything ELSE that’s annoying :)

There’s a lot of weird little “tax” moments in the game that don’t really contribute but add up over time to a lot of wasted time. The ‘run in’ moment is one of them. Rennala’s first phase is another. My own personal peeve is having to reset all the damn elevators whenever I die in a dungeon, since it contributes nothi

I did. I’m annoyed I had to change it - as a default configuration it’s just a very poor choice.

I do the same thing, and it is needlessly annoying.

I’m enjoying it enormously (on PS5) but I will say that sometimes the game just does what I’d consider to be stupid bullshit. There are just tons of small things that just eat your time, such as elevators not resetting when you die in a dungeon... so that you always have 5-10 seconds of waiting for the elevator to

I like the character. And the initial boss fight setup is really epic. But the actual fight sucks.

Even with decent armor and vigor, he can two shot you pretty easily. Your helpers don’t really do much damage and die easily, while you’re barred from summing your actual good personal summons. And he has these huge area

I bought it - knew about the MTX and figured I’d still pay for the ability to race through FF tracks, hear FF music, and so on.

It is aggressively in your face about MTX. Not even like a “look, you can earn things and you can earn them faster with a battle pass” like I expected. But repeated full-screen

Happy I picked it up on PS5, then. And looking forward to playing it.

That said, I do wonder if the reviews are getting caught up in the hype. From’s games are frequently amazing but are also games that a lot of people just don’t enjoy due to the game philosophy and difficulty. Looking forward to seeing it.

I downloaded the game and tried it, playing a gunslinger. Did the very opening area... and then it zoomed in on my character as she ‘walked’ - it looked like she was going to throw out a hip. The sexualization was ridiculous, so crazy looking it actually made me stop playing. It would have bothered me way too much to

It’s not wrong. :)

One of the things I really liked about this game is that in the very beginning they tell you that Pokemon are potentially super dangerous, but that you’re 15 and old enough to contribute. So you have to or they’ll throw you out. Get a job, hippie. :)

That’s alleviated a bit later in the game once the town really gets

Well, there goes keeping a lot of this stuff on PC with reasonable release times, maybe? Also, if anyone was going to buy Bungie I would have expected MS, but... you go Sony, I guess?

Not too happy with all the consolidation going on here. It’s one thing for small studios like Obsidian that could use the extra case,

This went really easily for me - probably just good RNG.

But it IS pretty easy to find Buizel’s. There’s 2-3 spots where they spawn quickly that are all reachable at the very beginning of the game, and another couple once you hit the first license rank.

Still, not a fan of RNG quests. Didn’t we learn this after WoW 10

The good news is that money isn’t hard to come by. Between Stardust ($1,000 each) and the fact that at 4-star license you’re getting $6k for turning in a pokemon report for 15 or so pokemon, you keep getting a lot of money.

I imagine it gets even better as your license rank goes up, because supposedly it does that

Because it’s off topic and takes away from the stated purpose of the meeting. I see this a lot in “management answers questions” meetings - they restrict to just the stated topic or they get a ton of weird questions about why compensation isn’t higher, why did you cancel a particular project that someone cared about,
