You must be fun at parties.

For me, Knack on the PS4 is the equivalent of Jumping Flash! on the PS1. It's a game that's taking its technical capabilities, waving them over its head and saying "look what I can do!" This doesn't make it a bad game, necessarily, but it's clear what its underlying message is.

I don't know if they really have one, or at least not one that lasts across all the generations. But that's what I like about them: that they're never going to prioritise one character above and beyond the rest. You're always going to get a revolving door of new IP on the PlayStation. It's not all necessarily good,

Was it Target exclusive? I thought it was bundled with Infamous 2 once.

Oh my gosh. I want to see this film so badly.

Soren is kind of a whiny character, but good God that's a pretty film.

I don't know: Rayman Legends seemed to do okay on that front, in truth.

And at what point was a Zelda deathmatch multiplayer suggested?

We will not change our existing franchises in an attempt to appeal to a wider audience.

I think that it depends on the experience. Left 4 Dead was a game that fostered co-operation: it wasn't in your interests to troll your team-mates on any level and any trolling could be swiftly dealt with. What's more, Journey, as an environment devoid of both human faces and voices, fosters some of the best

That's all well and good, but it's not as if online multiplayer would exist to the detriment of the local multiplayer. How would the game's vision be compromised by adding a component that can be discarded by anyone that wants to?

Yeah, I believe there is: you can pre-order a physical copy in the UK, anyway.

Yeah, I know what you mean. For all its flaws I appreciated how Days let you customise keyblades to your fighting style a little more, rather than it being a gradual ramp up in power with little to distinguish each keyblade otherwise.

That is adorable.

Just because a game was built to take advantage of motion controls that doesn't mean you have to do a mini-workout just to play it. Trauma Center is one example.

Frankly I think this characterisation of Wii games is ridiculous. Games like Boom Blox, Super Mario Galaxy and even Red Steel could be happily played sat down. The only thing I can think of that fits your criteria is stuff like Wii Fit and Just Dance.

The Wii, for all its flaws, was very special at the time even for a "hardcore" gamer like me: it was actually the first home Nintendo console I bought. Everything about it was charming, from the games down to the user interface. I happily used it as my main console for a couple of years before the PS3 came along. It

"Graph random pokemon curve."

Have you ever played Tokyo Jungle? You can do at least two of the things you mentioned.

I agree. Where have these penguins come from? Keeping them in a bar in the middle of a city can't be good for them, and it seems pretty mean-spirited to keep a bunch of wild animals in a public place like this for our entertainment.
