@Lizard in the Wires - Please, call it hamburger time.: That's true. Lois always had her hair half brushed and frizzy, Hal had the same $5 haircut the entire run of the show, and the kids' clothes rarely matched. Plus all the furniture and decor was about 15 years out of style.

@kentuckienne: Well, she's 28. They may have been going for the young mother thing. Because you know all us poor people, we get married at 16 and start popping out babies while our soldier husbands are at war.

@tewkesbury: If we can go animated, the girls on Sailor Moon changed clothes a lot. Serena had a long white skirt she'd wear a with a green top a lot, but sometimes she'd be in a mini skirt or jeans. She also had a white coat that she wore with different outfits. All the characters had things like that.

@morninggloria: My favorite part of the movie "Kiss The Girls" is that all the murders take place in the mountains, but the cop they talk to is the Sheriff in Charlotte who speaks with an amazingly thick southern accent.

One of my personal pet peeves is "Hollywood messy" in a room. If you have a slob character or a messy room, you just throw a few piles of clothes over the backs of chairs and put some cups on the table. That's really not a disaster, that's a weekend. Put some damn effort into your set design to make it look lived…

Some of the best costume design work I ever saw on a movie was on Secret Window. Johnny Depp spent the entire movie running around in a ripped bathrobe looking filthy. I remember seeing it and thinking that it was exactly the kind of thing the character would wear in real life.

Wait, how'd you guys get this picture of me after 4 or 5 drinks?
