HOW IS THIS NOT FOOTLOOSE?
HOW IS THIS NOT FOOTLOOSE?
OMG that is hilarious. I’ve missed you Garrison Dean.
I always think of this as the Walter White car, bc I never saw one IRL until years after the show was off the air and I’d speedballed it via Netflix.
I’m probably on the wrong side of this, especially since I’ve barely wrenched, but, off the top of my head, the past three years:
You’re probably right, I relied on Hooked on Phonics as I typed.
Free Guy: sold. Love the premise and I love RR.
I keep wanting to compare the tone of this trailer with the tone of the New Mutants trailer - which, reshoots notwithstanding, I like. There’s a horror element to the X-series that could be pumped up just a bit.
I forgot about that! Unfortunately the most forgettable of the First Class series. I almost forgot to watch it :)
I agree - almost wrote three-parter but was afraid of the IO9 backlash :). Also your level of detail is more than I would have gone into, but I like it.
It just occurred to me that to go straight to Dark Phoenix, they have to skip over a couple of years’ worth of comics. First, she has to become the Phoneix. then she becomes basically an OP character. Then they have to start her down the path to Dark Phoenix, through the Hellfire Club, to eventually the Shi’ar coming…
I’ll say this in favor of The Gifted: they’re bringing in a lot of the X-universe’s non-Magneto enemies, and that is a good thing.
Carrie+Firestarter with a dash of Escape from Witch Mountain.
Yeah, but they could semi-remake with some Madeline Pryor/Goblyn Queen story. *That* would at least take the franchise in a new direction.
All of this is why I am very meh about the Eternals. They are a Poke Bowl of reheated leftovers from so many other concepts. Good concepts, to be sure, but I can’t help feeling the Eternals are redundant, not only in the comics but in the MCU.
OMG, is that what that storyline was? I haven’t caught up yet.
I have liked the look of those MKTs, they look to me like ‘40s-era saloon cars.
Howard could feather her nest anytime.
Ima say, I felt exactly the same way last year, when I watched Legion S1 and then Gifted S1. The Gifted grew on me a bit, but I only stuck around to get to the Stepford Cuckoos.
Not unlike Blockbuster being used to show “a long time ago, in our very own Galaxy”.
I’ll take your word for it on the picture. My eyes, they ain’t getting any younger :)
