I have a thing for AMC in general. I remember the dealership near our house when I was little, and a gradual understanding later in life that “that ain’t no more”.

Only if the muppet is shaped like an anthropomorphic phone.

TL;DR. Basically the maker of the classic Bond Car, has now made a true Bond Car”.

How the hell do we still have Log Cabin Republicans? You may as well just come out and say that you value being wealthy over having your dignity.

Somewhat conflicted - it was over so fast, it was hard to be annoyed. The message did not come through in match coverage.

Well it’s a Mustang, maybe it wanted to nibble the hay? Pony cars, natch.

Hey DJ, Ima put in a request: Kraftwerk, Autobhan. Long form.

I’m vaguely aware of some QC issues with the Fusion, and that the major American automakers skimp on quality in favor of volume. Also, these days, I’m more of a Euro-fan, though as a child I was definitely a Ford girl. My brother’s a Chevy guy. We’re opposites on EVERYTHING, from condiments to gaming consoles.

That is pretty amazing. Great value. TL;DR the whole thing - just reading about the labor was exhausting, but obvs well worth it.

I love me some Legacy wagon. I call them out to friends when we walk down the street, and that behavior alone marks me in their eyes as a “car girl”. I love some stick-shift too, and FWIW, the Saab paddle wagon came with a “Legacy” mud mat in the hatch.

I would welcome this. My ‘05 Saab has radio, cassette, and CD, but no aux.

I wanted to friend him on Facebook, just to ‘wave’ goodbye.

Miss Gradenko’s next Season Pass purchase, bc she is an old lady who can’t stay up late on a work night.

I’ve been wanting Jalopnik to do a “Cars of The Americans” for three seasons now. The slow-roll surveillance scenes have all kinds of auto trivia in them, I’m sure.

Yas. it’s like an updated version of my current Swede (knock on wood will be in service quite a while longer). A turbo 4cyl station wagon that gets the job done.

I’m not normally a truck person, but this would be a great paddle wagon - lots of room for wet and muddy gear, opens up nicely for summerin’, and a long roof to put bars for boats on. Also, I guess a bit of a unicorn as SUV-trucks go.

I read that as “has his balls revoked”, and got a good chuckle out of it.

What a great post. I wasn’t in the army but was an army brat, and the variety of cars we had in Germany rivals our pre- and post-army life auto mobiles. Most of our time in Germany we were with the 1st AD, so it’s nice to hear the perspective of someone who drove those big trucks and some of the tracked vehicles.

Great to hear. I gotta say, I’m the JJ demo, and I love her show, but Luke Cage IMO is the best of the Marvel Television lot.

CHUDs. It’s an acronym :)
