I’ve been on a big slide film kick lately, running through five rolls of Provia 100 recently. I’m on my second roll of Velvia at the moment, and I’m very curious how it turns out.

wow what a flashback

Oh good Lord the flashbacks are real.

Oh, 2003...

And also, anyone who takes digs at them probably listened to them a lot along with everyone else while they were at their peak.

The Mini has been heading in the wrong direction since it was given a rebirth. Used to be a cool, small car. In 2001, curb weight was 2315, now it’s 2605 (or one fat guy). If they’re going to make a Mini, I wish they’d keep it mini and make improvements that don’t increase its heft. And if there was ever a car that

I ran my car into a mall but I didn’t hit anyone, no harm no foul.

Oh, fuck off.

True story: When Joanne Woodward wanted to give her husband Paul Newman a Mini for Christmas, they were able to drive it up onto the porch and get it through the double doors into house and into the room with the tree.

Hate to be that guy, but technically this is not ‘gridlock.’

Exactly. I live in Palos Verdes. All the cool old cars come out on the weekend. It really is fun to see them driving around. Also, the VIP valet at Terranea is usually pretty sick.

Nice Moke

I quite like this car. From the rear is hard to tell its a BMW, and you always look positively surprised when you realize it is, in fact, a 3er. With some nice rims the proportions are so great.

That’s correct in the race however in qualifying (as in the video) they are free to deploy DRS as and when they want. At Monza for example some drivers disengaged DRS pre braking for better stability in braking for certain corners.

If Britain and the US took these refugees, this story wouldn't exist.

Like buying a British classic?

Woo! Nailed the region again! Could be worse, you could be more east.

It is only smelly if you are inland... are you trying to tell us you're from Santa Clarita?

Of Clarkson, Hammond, and May, James is the bloke whom I’d most like to hang out with and have a few pints or a few drams of nice scotch given the opportunity. I cannot think of a program he’s hosted that I didn’t find enjoyable.
