Tall people getting decapitated in “coupe” sedans is for when they enter the rear of the car. It is easy to either slam the side of your head on the top of the doorway or be very uncomfortable contorting yourself to get in. It happens far too often. The worst is the first-gen Panamera. It’s why wagons and hatchbacks

I would much rather all those billions of dollars be used to expand the subway system in Los Angeles. They keep working on above ground rail or bus line projects, but all those usually follow existing streets.

I’ve happily thrown carbon into the faces of all the children I drive past in my carbureted Mini, for almost two decades. However, I genuinely do care for the environment.

I know, one of these days, I’ll die a terrible, slow, mangled death, and the person doing the mangling probably won’t even notice. Totally worth it.

Back when Top Gear and Fifth Gear were one, and just Top Gear. I wanted the Ford Puma so bad when I first saw this. I still want it.

Of course, first thing I see is a classic Mini. That thing has probably turned to the brittle nature of a Lays potato chip in the elements...

I’m sure there is a huge amount of people in Southern California that are house poor. Either that, or they don’t give a shit about their cars.

Cutaways are one of my favorite things.  I wish more car companies would do them.

I’ve got an ‘07 Cross Country in good condition.  They pretty much changed nothing but the wheels and stereo from 02-07.

The books stated on multiple occasions that nothing can be made from nothing. Therefore, when something appears or disappears, this means that something must be going someplace from someplace.

The insanely terrible rear-corner visibility of a 2006 Alfa Romeo Brera, now available in 2019's America!!

The Unipower GT is my favorite odd-ball English car. It’s the best.

Dat shifter tho... Yep, that’s an inline motor with the transmission just as it normally is, with a gearshift that is properly behind you. IT’S AMAZING.

Yep!! With the angle of the gear lever, it becomes more of a vertical shift pattern, than the usual flat horizontal pattern.

The Standard Atlas will always be my favorite. It can actually haul, it’s purely a utility truck, it’s unique, and it’s goddamn adorable.

I think this goes for just about any FWD Volvo. The only reason I bought my XC70 wagon was because it was “not FWD.”

Brakes. I upgraded all four corners on my Mini, and it completely changed the dynamic of the car. Thankfully, every tire available for the car is a higher grip summer tire, but thatd have me noticing how crummy my brakes were.

I think it’s something about blue and white, the two paint colors I’m not usually a fan of; I just think they look so god damn good together.

I guess, since I’m coming from the perspective of a 2007 XC70 owner, rear corner visibility is excellent compared to my experience in a V60. Those modern “swooping” style D-pillars create a larger blindspot than more square pillars.

I want to know about rear visibility. Wagons used to excel with rear corner visibility, but Volvo’s previous V60 D-pillars are obnoxiously massive.
