I understand the need for a wagon. I own a wagon. However, if you want a view and a massive amount of cargo space, don’t get a Mini. I don’t see them making cargo-capable SUV versions of the Miata.
You know something is properly wrong when the MINI badge on the trunk is the size of a football. Visual tricks to make cars look smaller shouldn’t exist on a “Mini”.
AWD, no. The Mini should always be FWD. The rest I strongly agree with.
Knolling dude. Knolling.
I have to say, as much as I do not like this car...
I love the “smallness” of the steering wheel airbag.
I finally broke and got a used ‘07 XC70. Not as pretty as a V70, or the new V90, but, hot damn, is it functional.
I do love that this car probably makes more power at idle, than my Mini ever did, stock.
I rarely go near the South Bay, so I’m sad to say I’ve never heard of him or seen the car. Sounds awesome, though. I’ve always loved the shorty Mini craze.
Just a couple words to the wise:
Haha, mine is a RHD car. If you’re not looking to gain attention, then don’t get a classic Mini. Attention comes in droves, whether you want it or not.
I drove my ‘71 Cooper, for a year and a half as a daily driver...
I drive a manual in traffic, sure my left arm and leg are almost twice the size of their counterparts, but it’s not terrible. It keeps you on your toes. And that lovely gap found when you can get up into third gear feels even more wonderful.
I wish my LEGO Mini had suspension...
Depends on where you are, what day of the week and luck.
The Sam & Niko YouTube channel recently showed the power of a punctured battery. (1:18 - 2:30).
Same thing happened with my 2008 Honda Accord EX-L (2.4 4-cylinder).
