Going by the experiences with the kids in my family and my friends’ kids: they can start helping prepare food at around age 4. Which is when the get their first sharp knives and veggie peelers in kid appropriate sizes. They definitely don’t help in preparing all meals, but they do in some. And in more as they get

I’m not really sure how doable that is in the US, but why not buy the bread without sugar? Here, I have the option of buying sweetened ‘American style’ sliced bread, unsweetened sliced bread or traditional yeast and sourdough unsweetened, unsliced bread. There is actually sweetened, traditional yeast bread. But it’s

Gluten free and lactose free are a no brainer in Italy. Being a vegetarian is a challenge and you have to accept that basically no place has a veggie main. At least not anything an Italian would consider a main.

Where I live, a 6-pack of eggs is the norm. The smallest pack size is 4, the biggest usually 10. You can get more, but it’s unusual and you have to really look for a bigger size.

Just be aware that sunchokes can have a lot of inulin. People who are sensitive to that might get a lot of gas and/or diarrhea from them.

Eh, the US themselves are using child soldiers. By definition anyone under 18 years of age joining or being used by the military is a child soldier. Minimum age to enlist in the US is 17 (with parental consent).

Without knowing more about him....

Yes, please. I enjoy cooking and eating. A lot. And tend to have an outsiders perspective as I am not American.

Not the one about Cara Delevingne?

Have you ever read about the methamphetamine abuse during the Third Reich? Because it might be Trump took some pointers.

To answer your first question: the final decision in the usual naturalization process lies with the members of the community you live in. You can only apply for citizenship after youve lived x number of years (differs depending on which community you live in) in the same community to give them a chance to get to know
