It wasn't a mechanical issue. It was a mechanic's issue.
Point. But can we agree on a rough percentage of douches? I'm going with at least 51%.
Back in July of 2011, the douchebag parade of supercars was running from Las Vegas to Miami when, outside of Orlando, the inevitable disaster struck. At the time, we only knew that the driver was arrested for reckless driving. Now we can see why.
You bring up a good question: Who buys this when they can get an ATS at around the same price with the same equipment? And you can get an ATS in RWD.
Is there any type of fund I can donate to? I'm deployed at the moment so I don't think I will find the car over here.....Unless there is some kind of international crime ring sending VW Bugs to the middle east.
Nice car.
I don't see there being strong enough of a case for bringing the RS stateside but I would certainly welcome it. Figured it would stay FWD which isn't my cup of tea, but the last RS seemed to manage pretty well with it. It's still a bad ass car even without AWD, but that would have been cool to make it an STI and Golf…
The business case for this really depends on how many V6 Mustangs this will cost, IMO.
