Oh man, this reminds me of the single best pvp experience I’ve ever had in a Souls game. I was in Shulva in Dark Souls 2, and a person invaded my world right as I was going down the slope from the first bonfire. I stood at the edge of where the buildings first begin and look out over the city, shield raised, searching

That’s not imperial japan. That’s like edo japan. Imperial japan had guns, came much later and was super rapey and nobody is nostalgic about it.

People keep giving me shit for being so against this online only stuff.. but this keeps happening and retail copies are becoming coasters left and right or straight up not containing half the game like tony hawk 5 which on disc was just a training mode and a few characters or something.

The reason surf maps are popular in the first place is because it’s something to do within CS, while you’re waiting for friends or just cooling down from a regular match. This is cool but I really don’t think many people are gonna want to open a whole new game just to dick around with surfing.

Which is clearly not the case here, since “ludonarrative” is literally the word coined to describe exactly what this trophy represents. Using the precise word isn’t smug, it’s communication. (And, in this case, really damn funny.)

“your an idiot”

Anti-intellectualism is such a sad and potentially destructive trend in our culture.

AW Come On!

Nvidia VR-PR Benchmarking Utility. You enter in which model of graphics card you’re using and it instantly spits out your RVR Perf score.

Nvidia has a big advantage. All the AMDs cards return a zero :o

Dicey? The guy’s out of a job. You ever lose a job because you said something thousands of anonymous individuals found disagreeable?

It’d be armageddon for unprotected feet.

You could then try and force any issue that you get reported for as coming from a harasser, if true or not. She took a second job, says it was okay, but used a fake name, like she knew it was wrong to do so and was trying to hide it. She now seems to be using the harassment as an excuse. Nintendo wisely wanted nothing

The moment the article hit Kotaku, I knew the thing was going to get taken down.

Well, from that POV, the initial “Tracer Butt” controversy could be considered the same thing with the roles reversed. In that the initial complaint post about the butt was saying that the pose was “out of character”.

Your never going to get an arena shooter to feel as tight and quick as the greats of 90's PC shooters when they are made for consoles aswell. That means designs will have to incorporate the limitations of the gamepad analogue stick into everything part of the game design.

It doesn’t even feel like a good Unreal game. They simply did not nail the Doom feel, nor the Quake/Unreal feel. It references things from those games and takes some mechanics and modernizes them in to something that feels too much removed from Doom. Those 3rdp finishers, like...what?

I would think that something like this was done more for the experience of seeing if they could, and to get some experience working with WebGl. You know, basically “Hello World” but taken much further.

Probably an example of a word that we used to use in a very different manner than we do today. As for me, being Dutch, I've never heard the word 'ransel', though I've heard of 'afranselen' in the context of beating the crap out of someone; something I imagine these bags could help with.
