I'm pretty sad that I'd lose my character and the items I got, but I'm not too bummed about it. The way I see it, with more quests, leveling up the skills in each build, along with faction rep, glimmer and items would be so much easier than it was in the beta.

The actual gameplay of Warcraft III was actually really good and fun because of the heroes. It didn't have a heavy competitive scene, but it's not like Blizzard really needs that, since they already have 3 games with it. (s0on to be 4 with HoS.)
