I doubt it. They’ll probably render the image with a lower resolution and such when in portable mode so the system won’t need as much resources thus the functionality would stay the same.

If I had to make an educated guess, I think the system runs at lower clock speeds when in portable mode and higher when docked.

I wonder, since the “tablet” part seems to have it’s own processing unit, does the dock also have one? If so, developing for Switch might be nightmarish and if it doesn’t sell like hotcakes, 3rd party support is going to be non-existing.
