Little birds told me that they use your psn name as the identifier unlike where most things have a unique id instead (numerical, etc) so basically changing the psn id would also affect a lot of things that would break stuff like online purchase licenses, etc. Extremely bad design.

Herp derp, when I was discussing the story elements I wasn’t specifically speaking of Fallout 4, but video game development trends in general and based on other observable facts about the game that are known by now and other recent games by Bethesda, it seems like even FO4 would be following this trend.
