Jesus. Look at the guy’s posture when he’s talking to the Swiss guy, versus the Rwandan guy.

Alice in Wonderland?

can we like his body of work if we have moral objections to the person?

You know what the Dems should do? They should just get a celebrity to deliver the response. I’m thinking Rosie O’Donnell.

For fuck’s sake, NO. No more Kennedys, no more Clintons, no more Bushes.

Once, just ONCE, I would like to see a pundit on a national news network stand there and make a serious argument for the dissolution of our military, complete abolishment of all private property, total disarmament, and an equal sharing of our nations wealth among third world countries.

The hardline Christian element may not be as large as they like us to think, but they are well funded, well connected, and have a disproportionate amount of influence.

But we do. We have records of severe weather events going back literally hundreds of years. It is true that we don’t have a exact measure of temperature, but we do have very clear records of snowfall, rainfall, and droughts, because farmers have kept track of that stuff forever.

I think we should just give them the South. They wanted to leave 150 years ago, as far as I’m concerned, they can take their shit and GTFO.

Atmospheric carbon passed 400ppm last year. Our species will be extinct, or surviving in a few scattered post apocalyptic bands within 100 years. We destroyed the planet, and everyone you love is going to die. There is no hope left for us or our world.

I think my fear of possibly being overturned on appeal due to juror bias

But if you spread your legs because he said ‘be nice to me and I’ll give you a job in a movie’ then I’m afraid that’s tantamount to consent, and it’s too late now to start whingeing about that.”

Oh, no- I love me some Will Smith. It’s just that they spent $90 million on a movie with an A-List star, when I think the story would have been better served as a much lower cost series. Smith was allegedly the result of a bidding war with another studio- he couldn’t have come cheap.

Thing is, it’s an okay movie. It’s not bad, but I certainly wouldn’t go so far as to call it good.

I generally don’t follow DC, so forgive me if this is a newbie question-

You win this thread.

Well, you *need* the scantily clad female character to distract from the overwhelming homoeroticism.

This is America.
